The Dance on Film Festival features short films from locations as close as Grounds For Sculpture to as far away as Ireland, Japan, and Hong Kong. These works offer an unforgettable viewing experience while exploring land & longing, earth & fragility, history & memory. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with several of the artists.

Price: $10 members & students, $15 non members. Tickets purchased online include Free ticket to Saturday, October 22 event, Day of Dance | Mud Baths.

 

This year’s films are by Leila Awadallah, Ffion Campbell-Davies, Heidi Duckler, Mary Fitzgerald & Nicole Bradley Browning, Sima Gonsai & karen morgan, Melanie Kloetzel, the Kusanagi Sisters & Yyvonne Meier, Samantha Matsumoto, Erin Carlisle Norton, Dawn Jones Redstone & Annie Tonsiengsom, Ann Robideaux & donia salem harhoor, Charly Santagado & mignolo dance, Peggy Ho & Paul Shepherd, Katrin Spranger, Keeley Stanley-Bohn, Holly Wilder, Hattie Mae Williams & Chris Salazar, and Mary Wycherley.

Day of Dance 
Mud Baths

On Saturday Oct. 22nd come for a remarkable, family-friendly afternoon of dance with outdoor performances throughout the park. This is The Outlet Dance Project's 18th year at Grounds For Sculpture!

FREE WITH PARK ADMISSION. Performances will begin at 1pm and continue at different locations until 4:30pm. Our festival brings you to multiple spaces, so please wear comfortable shoes…the dancers won’t be the only ones moving! Sites are accessible.

This year's theme is mud baths. While engaging with literal earth & soil, these site-specific dances reflect on nature & place, sculpture & time, the environment & impact. Featured Choreographers: Ty Dancing Wolf Ellis, Cachet Ivy, Yamini Kalluri, Maxine Steinman, & Hattie Mae Williams. More information about them here.
