The Outlet Dance Project The Outlet Dance Project would like to invite choreographers (individual or companies) to submit an application to participate in our upcoming show at Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. The Outlet Dance Project provides a performance opportunity for emerging women choreographers from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York. The Outlet is committed to supporting a variety of traditional and nontraditional dance forms and venues. Through performances and outreach programs we are inspiring the Central New Jersey community and enriching the lives of young people and adults through dance.  Performance and dress rehearsal will take place on Sunday October 3th, 2010. The performance showcases staged dances as well as site specific dances. The first half takes place inside the Seward Johnson Center for the arts and the second half takes place outdoors in and around the 35 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with over 200 contemporary sculptures. www.groundsforsculpture.org Application Postmarked by Friday April 30th 2010 (Decisions made by May 14th.)      Application Must Include:                                                                                Choreographer's contact information (name, address, phone number, email) Choreographer's bio and resume Title, description and length of work being submitted (No less than 2 minutes and no longer than 10 minutes) VHS or DVD of work being submitted If you’re doing site-specific work, 5-10 minute VHS or DVD sample of previous work and a written proposal of choreographic intent. This year’s performance will take place outdoors at Grounds for Sculpture, 35 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with over 200 contemporary sculptures. Accepting submissions for traditional and site-specific work. Site-specific work and live music is strongly recommended.
